Opel was the first to make modern car design popular in Europe, with the establishment of its design center in Rüsselsheim in the 1930s. Since then, Opel has become known for combining well-styled cars with innovative technologies. And, naturally, they are made in Europe.

At the occasion of its 110th anniversary, Opel presents a range of cars that highlighted the history of the car manufacturer.

With the launch of the official Kadett Rallye in November 1966, Opel re-enforced its sporting success, introducing the forerunner to a whole number of fast Opel compact models, including the present-day Astra OPC. The list of victories racked up by Kadetts and Astras throughout the years is almost endless. Suffice it to say, our cars are as fast on the road as they are on gravel.
